Our instractor Maki Gurung will hold on an exhibition at CTC soon.

The exhibition titled "People during change; and the start of consumer capitalism"

Art without passion has no energy. Art, all forms of it, is raw energy. All art need sociopolitical motivation as energy; art is political, art contains messages, art is the artist’s expression. These works are my resistance to the discreet change of life that is imposed upon the lowest layer of society. They are my solidarity to the workers and farmers. These works are messages. They are the mass media of the under-represented. Maki Gurung

Opening party on the first day of the exhibition; 2011.11.11 6:00pm at CTC, Space-Y
